looking for family of Fleetwood Herndon

Fleetwood Herndon is my gg-grandfather John Frederick Herndon's brother and I'm trying to verify the "supposed" parents and siblings, JF's line is cold but there is documentation on Fleetwood who lived in Lafayette Arkansas and died in Boone Missouri. Parents are said to be: John Herndon b1761 and Mary Fleetwood b1765, the other siblings are said to be: William, Elizabeth, Polly, Richard William, Augustus Gaines, and Frances "Fanny", has birth records for most of them. My gg-grandfather and Fleetwood were born in Fredericksburg this much I know for sure from family docs. I've seen many trees that have this family but no documentation to verify and no one had John Frederick listed and he was Fleetwoods brother I know from the Will of John Frederick in 1880 where he gives $500 to Fleetwoods daughter Louisa Herndon/Connery named as his niece in the Will. Does anyone know any info on this family? I believe they moved to the Scott Kentucky area between 1800 & 1810, Mary supposedly died around 1805 and I think John re-married a Catherine, she is buried next to Frances in Missouri and listed as Mrs John Herndon. I also believe there may be a link to the Gaines family from the middle name Gaines for Augustus. I've seen there was a Mary Ann Gaines that married a Edward Herndon that had a son John b1771. This Herndon line is so frustrating due to the lack of records in Fredericksburg and so many Herndon trees I see are so mixed up I wonder if anyone has this line correct.
