Thank you for your reply. I wonder if George d. c. 1863. He was discharged from the service 3 Aug 1863 and usually they weren't given a discharge until they were really ill. Many of them did die shortly after the discharge. He might never have made it back to Marcellon, Columbia Co., WI which is the place where he enlisted. Marcia
