There are two women named Angeline Herrick in my database.
One is from Cape Vincent, Jefferson Co., NY, b. Jan. 04, 1828, d. Dec. 1853. She had a brother named Elijah & she was a d/o Elijah Herrick & Jemima Welling. No spouse is listed for her. She d. at age 25.
The second is from PA, b. June 06, 1824, d. after June 01, 1880, had a spouse named William M. Jones and she was a d/o Job Herrick and Hannah Cummings. I think it is best that I cite the entry for her parents, followed by the entry for her. Both entries have been taken from the Herrick Genealogy published in 1885.
502.7. JOB HERRICK, b. Feb. 05, 1776, d. Mar. 28, 1853, m. 1st Althea Bennett, m. 2nd, Hannah Cummings, b. Mar. 04, 1797, d. Dec. 27, 1871, Job was a merchant and he lived in PA.

And from the 1880 census for North Ward, Waupun, Fond Du Lac Co., WI, source Family Search census CD for 1880 set, which cites FHL Film 1255416, National Archives Film T9-1426, page 519B. And the data below from said census is in order for the following categories:
Name, Relation, Sex, Marital Status, Race, Age, Birthplace.
Wm. M. JONES, self, M, M, W, 57, NY.
Angeline JONES, Wife, F, M, W, 56, PA.
Eva D. JONES, Dau., F, S, W, 26, PA.
Delia JONES, Dau., F, S, W, 24, WI.
Bennett JONES, GSon, M, S, W, 7, WI.
Which implies that the birth date of William M. Jones was before June 01, 1823, [the official date of the 1880 census was June 01, 1880], say he was b. about 1822/1823.
Her ancestry is:
She was the d/o Job Herrick, Feb. 05, 1776-Mar. 28, 1853 & Hannah Cummings, Mar. 04, 1797-Dec. 27, 1871.
The s/o Andrew Herrick Apr. 07, 1752-ca 1827 & Priscilla Cady, Jan. 30, 1751/51-unk.
The s/o Andrew Herrick, Feb. 10, 1727/28-unk. & Abigail Hall.
The s/o Ephraim Herrick 1692-ca Oct 22, 1754 & Rachel Fellows.
The s/o Ephraim Herrick, Aug. 13, 1664-unk. & Judith Woodbury.
The s/o Ephraim Herrick, bap. Feb 11, 1636/37-Sep. 18, 1693 & Mary Cross.
The s/o Henery Hericke, 1598/1600-bef. Mar. 15, 1670/71 & Editha Laskin, ca 1612-after 1674.
Henery Hericke is known as Henry of Salem in the 1846 & 1884 Herrick books, where it is claimed that he was the 5th s/o Sir William Heyricke of London & Leicestershire. Recent research has proven this to be wrong. Henry of Salem was probably a commoner. The 5th s/o Sir William was in England as late as November 1634, when he witnessed the marriage settlement of his sister, Martha Heyricke, and in York Co., Virginia as early as March 17, 1641, per a court document in York Co., VA. We, [the Henry research team of three researchers], have dubbed him Henry of Virginia. Henry of Salem arrived in Salem, MA by mid to late 1629, some meager evidence indicates he came with the Higginson-Skelton fleet of Puritans, but that is not firmly established.
Information from the 1846 & 1885 Herrick books is for most purposes unverified data. It may or may not be fact. There are times that a researcher with primary or secondary source data finds that it conflicts with what was published in the 1846 & 1885 books. Some of the data in said books has been verified or corrected by the Herrick Family Association, HFA. The HFA is compiling a 3rd edition of the Herrick Genealogies and has verified or corrected a reasonable percentage of data in the books before 1850. In some cases more individuals have been added based on sources that we are using to compile the 3rd edition.
We are planning to hold an HFA Inaugural Meeting in Salem, MA during August 2002.
We are now a certified non-profit Corporation and the HFA will be soliciting for members on the RootsWeb HERRICK-L list, the GenForum Message Boards and other Internet sites frequented by HERRICK & allied family researchers.
