Ok, Herzbert family this is obit for my husbands great uncle.

Robert A Herzberg Widely Known Artist
Robert A Herzberg widwly known artist, died Friday Bloomfield Hills after a short illness. he lived at 1936 Highland, Birmingham.
Mr Herzberg was born in Furstenberg, Mecklenburg, Germany in 1886. In 1892 his familty came to America and settled in Toledo Ohio.
When Mr Herzbert was 21 he left home to study at the Chicago Art Institute where he paid for his tution, room and board by working as a busboy in restaurants and an usher in theaters.

In 1913 he married in New York?. He had worked for Walker & Co and for Evans WInter Hebb as illustrtor. For 12 years he owned and operated one of the leading art schools the Detroit school of fine and applied arts.
He painted portraits of Ethel Barrymore, Katharine Hepbur, Mary Pickford, Xavier Cugat, Kate Smith, Gloria Swainson and Orson Welles.
He is survived byu five sons, Robert N of Royal Oak, Jack of Debroit, James of New York, Herbert of Beverly Hill and Thoms of Ferndale; two daughtes Mrs Carl Honkanen of Birmingham and Mrs Delor Westerby of Troy; a brother Max, toledo, and two sisters Hattie Herzbert and Mrs Donald Wells bot of Toledo and 23 grandchildren. Now some one out there has to be related to this family, where are you. Robert's father was Carl A Herzberg and his mother was Emma Sache both of Germany.
