I found some entries about wandering Herzberg families in the churchbook of Gramenz, Kr. Neustettin, Pommerania, Prussia. The home town of these families was not given, maybe that did not have a home town anymore:
Luise Herzberg died on March 16, 1814 in Flackenheide, age 1 1/2 years, cause: pox, father: Wilhelm Herzberg, glass merchand ("Glashändler")
Richard (or Rietzhard) Schmerzensreich Gabriel Herzberg born on March 16, 1808 in Zechendorf, parents: Gabriel Herzberg, wandering soldier ("reisender Musketier") and Anna Weise
Johann Leopold Herzberg died March 17, 1809 in Storkow, age 1 3/4 years, cause: epilepsy;
he was the son of a wandering woman, name not given ("Sohn einer umherziehenden Zigeunerin")
