Tully, in its various spellings, was not an uncommon name in County Longford. Terence J. Tully (1835-1921 Spokane WA) had siblings Denis (1838-1909 Brooklyn NY), Michael (1836-1915 Culvers Lake NJ) and Anna, who died in or after 1914 in Co Longford, the widow of John Kiernan.

These four and a child who died in infancy were the only children of Patrick J. and Ann (Fox) Tully of Co Longford. Patrick was born around 1801, died 23 Feb 1883 and is buried in Co Longford; Ann was born in 1814 and died 20 Dec 1847.

Patrick was the son of Terence and Mary (Doris) Tully. Mary died 4 Mar 1858, according to her grandson Terence J. Tully.

Terence was the son of Patrick and Sarah (Lynch) Tully. Patrick's father's name, again according to Terence J. Tully, was Morris or Myles Tully.

Unfortunately I have no information at all about any aunts or uncles Terence J. Tully may have had on his father's side. He had at least one maternal uncle, Patrick Fox of Boston MA.
