I think we might have a connection. I'm looking for the Heslin family in New Britain but I'm having a hard time finding info. Here is all I have. Let me know if you want to chat.

My Heslin name goes back to Hessling.
Mary Hessling b. abt 1817 Ireland d. Feb 20, 1906 New Haven County (Death records show family members from New Britain)
-daughter Mary Ann Heslin aka Margaret Hessling b. Aug 1852 (unsure if born in New Britain or Ireland) m. George H. Henry Close about 1870 d. after 1900

If your Patrick Heslin died in 1876 he's buried in St. Bernard's Cemetary in New Haven, CT.

I, also, hold a death certificate for a Peter C. Heslin (single) who was a stone cutter. His parents were Patrick Heslin and ??? Carberry both from Ireland. Peter died Oct. 16, 1934. I copied it but I can't fit him into the family. I haven't ruled it out because I can't prove it either way.

Let me know!
