Ms. Bateman, thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my inquiry & post your message.....I cannot tell you how much that means to me for it is the 1st "door opening" to tracing of my roots. Again, I am eternally grateful(I imagine, as a member of the forum, you know my feelings at this time.).When I was wounded in Vietnam in 1967, I came home to Palm Springs, California & along with my Dad (deceased now) we traveled to Riverton, Wyoming to meet Uncle Tommy who, at 92 years of age < had taken the train from Logansport, Indiana to Denver & a bus from Denver to Riverton, Wyoming. It was the last time I saw him & I understand he passed away around '68 or '69. Can I please ask you one final favor??? Can you email me & let me know how you were able to obtain the information re his WWI draft registration card....I hope that is not asking too much. If I can get that information, it will give me a starting place to begin my search back to Ireland and beyond. Once again know I am so very grateful to you for your assistance. Faithfully submitted, Tom Heslin.
