In addition to Bishop Heslin, he may have had a brother, Father Patrick E. Heslin of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Colma California.

In August 1921 he was abducted with a ransom demand and his remains later found buried at Salada Beach resort on the Pacific Ocean.

If you want to check on this on microfilm go to your Public Library and look in the NY Times Index for August 1921. Then have the librarian furnish the particular microfilm roll and possibly copy the relevant articles.
