Hi Eugene,
I just saw your listing. My Heslin ancestors settled in Brooklyn, NY, and then Chicago after they emigrated from Co.Longford, Ireland. Daniel Heslin came over later (1880's) and he his brother Michael went on to Chicago and E.Chgo, Indiana. Your mention of the Rodgers name prompted me to write because Daniel's mother's maiden name was Margaret Rodgers, and they were all from townland of Aghakeeran and thereabouts in Co.Longford. If you haven't already done so, check out the Griffith's Valuation surname index (done in 1850's) or the Tithe Applotment lists and you can see where surnames are clustered all over Ireland. We may have a family connection.
