Well it's been several years but finally dusting off this project. Have hired a great sleuth to help out this time (thanks Pam).
NOW: we are looking for any descendents of HESLIN (from County Westmeath, Ireland):
* Delia (seemed to be in NYC between 1900 and 1910)
* Michael Patrick (we believe he came to the US)
* Thomas and James (we believe they he did NOT come to the US, at least not in the early 1900s)

They are all siblings of ANDREW J. Andrew J was born Sept 12 1873,came to the US, was married to MARY KENNY. Mary Kenny died Aug 1918. Andrew J."left" his son, Matthew (age 16), in October 1918. We recently learned that Andrew signed a draft card (!)in September 1918. But the military trail is leading nowhere.
I am doing this for my mother, now 83. Her father was Matthew J. He (and she) always wondered what happened to Andrew (we know more now than we used to), and I'm hoping that by hooking up with descendents of Andrew's siblings, we can form a more complete picture.
Thank you.
