In Wharton NJ, there is a restaurant, a very good one at that, named the "Heslin House." Originally, it was owned and operated by a Kathleen Heslin. She may have some connection to your Heslins.

My father, Edward James Heslin came from County Cavan near the borders of Longford and Westmeath. He was born in either 1885 or 1889, depending on whether you use his English passort or a birth certificate from his parish church in Cavan. He had brother, Michael and a sister, MaryAnn. He emigrated to the United States (Binghamton, NY) in approximately 1921. He married Mary Catherine Cooney of Quilty, County Clare, in St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, in approximately 1952. They had eight children, James, Eileen, Kathleen, Robert (Edward), Eugene, Mary Patricia, Michael and Thomas.
