The Loundoun County Tax List have a Conrod Hesser living there in 1782 First Battalion (Loudoun Co. iswas divided into three battalions.3He is also listed in 1783, 1784.
In 1781 he is listed in the second battalion and listed with him is Andrew. In 1788 Andrew Hesser is listed under Peter Warner in the third battalion and Conrod Hesser is listed in the second. This is the last listing for Conrod.
In 1789 Ann Hesser is listed (not tithable) and under her Peter Hesser (males 16 and older were usually listed). In 1790 Ann Hesser is listed with Peter Hesser and John Hesser. The Hesser family continues to be listed in Loudoun County through the early 1800s. Andrew Hesser was listed in the Third Battalion up until 1806 It would appear that Andrew died about 1806 for beginning in 1807 Hannah Hesser is listed there. In 1810 she is listed with sons John and David and in 1819sons John David and Andrew.
Peter Hesser is first listed with Ann in 1789 and then by himself in the Second Battalion though 1797.
It appears that Conrod Hesser and wife Ann had at least three sons:Andrew, Peter and John.Son Andrew Hesser and wife Hannah had at least three sons Andrew, David and John.
Hope this helps someone.
