I have been researching the Hayde name for the last 25 years (also off and on) and have traced it back to southern Germany in the 1500s. Also used at various times by the same person was Hade, Hayd, Heyd, Heyde, Heide and Heid. They are all prevalent in the Wuerttemberg, Preussen, Bavarian states. Would be keen to know what you have on the Heyd research. I note you don't have a computer so will write also. Notify Administrator about this message?
