Liz,
I don't have any information at all about the "missing brother", but I don't think he could be your Josephina's father judging by her birthdate. The brother that we do know about, my great grandfather, was born in 1863 and did not come to the States until sometime later, I'm assuming when he was a young man. I would suppose that his brother would be somewhat near to his age, but in any case, not old enough to be Josephina's dad. I will keep your information though, in case I ever find out anymore. Thanks for the reply.
