Aloha,
Looking for info regarding the Loo-Akana family from Hana, Maui. My g-g-grandfather was Japanese and his name was Fukumura. He and his Hawaiian wife had a daughter, Mary Onemahulani Hiram (Hawaiianized to Kailama). She married a Chinese man, Loo Kan Tung, and their family name became Akana. Their children were: Benjamin, Joseph, Lucy, Helen, Florence, and my maternal grandmother, Alice "Aunty Ann" Akana Kwon. I am especially hoping to track down the name of my Hawaiian g-g-grandmother, the one who married Mr. Fukumura. Mahalo for any help!
