Royal Hawaiian princess

I am seeking information concerning Princess Margaret of Hawaii - born late 1800's. Family name, background and island of birth uknown. Catholic religion. No further details. Married wealthy British businessman John White who took her to live in Madras, India. One child, daughter Teresa Marie born Madras 1924. Princess Margaret and John White died within one week of each other in Madras, 1947. Orphaned and alone, Teresa Marie left India 1947 for England to marry Vyvyan Eden-Winn (Wynn) September 28th 1949 who's family had also left India during Independence Teresa Marie d.1900 UK & Eden-Winn d. 1994 UK.

There is a big mystery surrounding Princess Margaret. She would not talk of her background and therefore very little is known. Despite knowing great wealth in India, Princes Margaret and her daughter Teresa Marie were both treated like Anglo-Indians in British India because of their
"brown" colour, sadly a situation which carried on once Teresa Marie was in England. Teresa Marie's daughter for whom I research also suffered from racial prejudice in London. There is little more to go on as the princess seldom spoke of her background, finding it too painful and lamenting her sadness at losing her family in the South Seas.

I am charged with the task of researching this ancestry for Princess Margaret's granddaughter and to find her Polynesian family. If anyone can help point me in the right direction, I would certainly welcome this and thank you warmly for your assistance.
