I'm assuming this was my aunt and that she probably lived in LA prior to moving to Hawaii. Is there anyway of confirming her length of stay in LA and whether or not she was married at the time, and to who? I am led to believe that in a lot of cases; at one time, immigrants entering the US were required to have an American sponsor and probably spent time living with their sponsors until their registration became finalized.
I am still working on getting whatever family information and background on Zoe from another American relative who remembers her. I will post more information as I get it.
