Someone has my last name...KEA

I come from a long family line of the last name KEA. My deceased grandparents Tom and Emma Kea are from the North Carolina area. What I want to learn is where did the name KEA derive from? What origin/original nationality does it derive from? If anyone knows for sure, 100% sure, please let me know. Ive heard Denmark,Hawaii and South Carolina. Its a beautiful interesting name so I would like to know its history.
