hi kaydene,
my name is kaleo souza i am 40 years old i live in honolulu,hawaii on the waianae coast. i am the daughter of robert lopaka tau-a. he is one of grandma k's brothers. he was born in keanae,maui. he was also married to my mom whose name is palmyra kaaoaolahilahi tau-a. they had 3 children together, and their names are palmyra kahealani tau-a,robert tau-a jr., and myself robbie kaleoonalani tau-a souza.
i know that you had written a letter saying that you would like to know more about your family, i just thought that i would write and let you know alittle bit about aour family. but kaydene we all grew up with grandma k and her family. we were very close to your dad and all of your uncles. your uncle stan,uncle walter,uncle clifford,uncle kealii, and your dad. they came to spend one summer here in honolulu with us and i tell you this was a summer we will all never forget. Your dad and your uncles always wanted to go surfing even aunty sweet and uncle robert told them not to go surfing they all still went surfing anyways and when uncle robert and aunty sweet got home we all got in trouble for that... and we all had to go under the house and dig dirt from sun up to sun down or until uncle robert said for sus to stop.. today we still have that hill on the side of the house as a huge reminder of that one summer. i'm pretty sure that your dad might remember this happening if you mention it to him. well kaydene, i would like to talk more but then i have to go so until next time take care and god bless.
