Hi Margarita, well I am looking as well what I did come up with is an email address that I sent a request but I got no answer just yet I can share the email address with you it is: dhernand@hunter.cuny.edu
I came across an article about the author Blaise Camacho Souza and on one site it gives the email address above and also talks about having records of Blaise Camacho Souza that I think it kept on archives in New York at a college.
I also wrote to a couple family members since we have a few that carry the last name Souza as well, not sure if any relations but I am sure they hopefully come up with something on the Hawaiian side.
I am looking too if you find anything please share and i will as well Teresa
