My great grandfather's name was Henry Hibbard, he was killed in a coal mine explosion in 1932 (you can see the transcripted news article here: http://www3.gendisasters.com/kentucky/5406/yancy,-ky-deadly-coal-mine-explosion,-dec-1932)
He married Pearl Mills and she was 5 months pregnant with my grandmother Henrietta at the time of his death.
I am not sure of their older childrens' names and this is ALL I know about him.
If anyone has ANY information on him (birth date/place, parents, other children) or Pearl Mills I would greatly appreciate it!
