Hello Fellow Family Researchers,
I need your help with my Grandmother's family and background-Her maiden name is Susan Hibbard. She was born in 1875-1876 in Clay County, Kentucky and died in 1958 in Charleston, Kanawha County, WVa. When she died, her obit. listed Harry Hibbard as her half brother and he lived in White Oak, WVa. This may be a clue that her father was married twice (????) Many of her children were born in Campbell, Tenn. She married Isaac Newman in 1896 in Kentucky. Her father is listed on her death certificate as Franklin Hibbard and her mother is listed as unknown. Sometime between 1910 and 1920 she moved from Jellico, Campbell, Tenn. to WVa.
I am trying to find her father, Franklin Hibbard and her mother. In addition, I am trying to find the link with Harry-her half-brother.
