I have been doing some research on the info you have and here is what I have found. See if any of it makes sense to you.
Millard F. Hibbard, b. 5 Jun 1919 Knox KY, d.22 Dec 1973, Tomah, Monroe, WI., buried in Wood National Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.He was a pvt in Army WWII. He had brother, Luther b. 3 Sep 1914, Estill Co., KY, d. 2 Dec 1995, Corbin, Whitley, KY. Their parents were: Henry Gilbert Hibbard, b. 11 May 1886, Knox Co. KY, d. 28 Apr 1959, Knox Co. KY. Mother was Florence Vanderpool, b. 1896, d. 2 Jul 1920, Lexington, Fayette, KY. Henry Gilbert then married Julia Ann Hammons, b. 13 May 1903, d. 18 Apr 1990, Boone Heights, Knox, KY. He had about 7 children by Julia from 1923 to 1940.
A problem I have run into is a child John Hibbard, b. 2 Dec 1915, Knox Co. KY, d. 19 Mar 1928, Barbourville, Knox, KY. His death certificate shows parents as Gilbert Hibbard and Julia Hammons. His bdate indicates Florence Vanderpool should be his mother, but I can't find any birth records for him. Can you explain anything for John Hibbard?
