Hello, I can help a little with Selina. She is the 1/2 sister to my 2 great grandmother Martha S. Baker.Selina is the daughter of Reuben Hickson and his second wife Ester. She had one full brother Richard Furman Hickson. Reuben's Estate is found in the Sumter County South Carolina Probate Records.Reuben died around 1830, his wife, Ester, and son in law John Cole were administrators of his intestate estate.Ester married John/Jonathan Baker around between June and November of 1830.John Baker bought a major portion of Reuben's estate including the land. When James M. married Selina, he gave them the old Hickson homeplace.
Ester died 1 Mar 1852 in her home in Taylorsville, Sumter, South Carolina,Martha died 3 Mar 1852 at her mother's house.
I would like to share information on Selina's family.
