Peter D. Hiebert and Katharina Friesen Hiebert were my grandparents.

Peter D.Hiebert married Katharina Friesen and John D. Hiebert married Katherine Friesen.

Katharina - wife of Peter D. was born 22 Feb. 1856 and died 10 Oct. 1921. She is buried in the Mennonite Cemetery at Hillsboro Kansas.
Katherine - wife of John D. Hiebert was born 20 March 1840 and died Dec. 18, 1893.
Peter D. Hiebert married again to Sarah Kroeker.

Peter D. Hiebert family line:
Peter D. Hiebert was born 23 Nov. 1851 in the village of Olgafeld (Fuerstenland), Russia, Nekopol and died 10 April 1928 at Hillsboro, Kansas.
He married Katharina Friesen on 7 Nov. 1878 in Russia. Katharina was the daughter of Isbrand Friesen and Katharina Esau Friesen.

Peter P. Hiebert - b. 5 Aug. 1879 Olgafeld (Fuerstenland), Russia, Nekopol died 1 Jan. 1958

Maria Hiebert b. 25 May 1893 died 24 March 1894 (died in Russia)
Henry Hiebert I - b. March 19, 1895 died 29 March 1895 (died in Russia)
Henry Hiebert II - b. Sept. 7, 1896 died 13 Oct. 1918 (died from flu in WWI)
Cornelius P. Hiebert b. 3 Nov. 1899 died 27 June 1980 (my father)

Peter P. Hiebert married Margaret Claassen on 15 Dec. 1904
Children: Bertha, Walter, olga, Alice, Peter (Edgar), Margaret, Otto, Lillian, Louis

Elizabeth Hiebert married Henry M. Hiebert on 17 Feb. 1804.
Children: Anna, Herman H., Paul H., Martha, and Bertha.
Henry M. Hiebert was previously married to Katharina Dueksen on 26 Feb. 1888. She died on 10 Oct, 1903. They had: Katharina (Tina), Cornelius, Henry, Jacob, John, Bernhard, Lizzie, and Helen. Henry M. Hiebert was born in Landskron, Russia on 13 Oct, 1864.

Jacob P. Hiebert married Margaretha Schultz on 2 May 1907. They had: David, Samuel I, Samuel II, Tena, Anna Hulda, Salome Elizabeth, Daniel P., Martha, James Herald, and Herman Johnny. After Margaretha died on 2 Aug. 1943, Jacob P. Hiebert married Susan Kliewer.

Agatha Hiebert married John A. Harder on 19 July 1910. They had: Peter James, Martha, Martha Ruth, Agnes Gladys, Selma Malba, and Jacob J.
John A. Harder was previously married to Katrina Klassen on 4 Jan. 1890: They had: Tina, Anna, Helen, Elizabeth, Justine, John and Maria. Katrina Klassen Harder died on 11 April 1904. On 29 Aug. 1904 he married Susanna Koop. They had: Abe, Susie, and Mary. Susanna Koop Harder died on 1 Oct, 1909.

Katharina (Tina) Hiebert maried John G. Kornelsen on 19 Jan. 1911. They had: Rosa, Goldie, Adina, Walter, Martha, and Harry.

Henry I Hiebert died young.

Henry II Hiebert died in WWI from the flu. He is buried in the Hillsboro Mennonite Cemetery.

Cornelius P. Hiebert married Pauline F. Davis on 29 Aug. 1923. They had: Dwight Eugene, Glenn Gordon, Shirley Joy, and Linda Kay.

The Peter D. Hiebert family lived at: Olgafeld, Fuerstenland, Russia, Nekopoll. After their marriage they lived in the village of Wasiljewka (later Naitmenka).
In about 1888 they moved to Vasoloffka. In 1903 they came to America settling in Hillsboro, Kansas near Cornelius D. Hiebert, brother of Peter D. Hiebert.

Peter D. Hiebert and Cornelius Hiebert (born 6 Dec. 1835 in the village of Einlage) first came to America in 1873 for a place to settle. Sometime later they returned to Russia and each married. Peter D. Hiebert told his children- "the land was too wild"
While on the ship coming to America they had their money in the bottom of their bag. When they arrived someone had cut the bottom of the bag and all of their money was gone. They had to work and earn enough to return to Russia.
Cornelius Hiebert came to America with his family in 1876 and settled near Hillsboro, Kansas. Peter D. Hiebert and his family came to America in 1903. John D. Hiebert and his family came to America between 1891 and 1893.

Father of Peter D. Hiebert was Johann Huebert b. 1786. children:
1. Agatha Huebert married Hildebrandt,
2. Franz Huebert - not other information.
3. Corneulis Hiebert b. 6 Dec. 1835, died 11 Aug. 1904 amrried Katherine Wiens 1st, 2nd Elizabeth Harder Poetker, and 3rd, Katherine Gooseen Warkentin,
4, Jacob Hiebert - no information,
5, Peter D. Hiebert b. 23 Nov. 1851 died 10 April, 1928 married Katharina Friesen
6. Johann Hiebert (John D.) married Katherine Friesen.
The obituary of Peter D. Hiebert states that his parents died when he was a small child.

Father of Johann Huebert 1786 was Abraham Huebert 1761-1810 born in Koeningsbert, East Prussia moved to Chortitza, Russia in 1789.
He had: Johann b. 1786, Abraham, Jacob, and David.
