Dear Alan:

Family records show that Johann Hiebert (1816-1890) had a half-brother by the name of Cornelius. We have no other information on him, other than that he was likely born after the 1835 census.

Our best information is that Abraham Huebert/ Hiebert (1790-?) had the following children that grew to maturity by his second marriage: Johann, Abraham, Peter, Gerhard, Jacob, Isaak, Margaretha, and Elizabeth. This corresponds reasonably well with the family of Abraham Johann Hiebert of Halbstadt in the 1835 Molotschna census. By a later marriage he had the following children: Martin, David, Heinrich, Cornelius, Helena, Maria, and Aganetha. We have no further information on them.

If anyone has more information on these individuals, it would be greatly appreciated if you could pass it along to us.
