ralph i have the hiers book ,,,,but when i started my family search ,in 1979 ,,i put together a book called family ties,,,,,,which included the bishop, bennett, taylor, hughes, and rutland's,,,,,,later on i found that larry bishop published a bishop book,,and it is very worth the money i spent for it ,,,we have a reunion every year,,,,,,,,joy hughes of bamberg published a hughes book and i bought one ,,,very nice,,,,,,,i finally purchased a hiers book and it was like christmas ,, there was a picture of my third great grandmother margaret hiers ,,,,for people that do family search you know how i felt,,,,,,ive also gotten a lot of info from distant hiers people that freely give me their family history ,,,and i put their information in smaller books ,,my last request is that all my work be turned over to the colleton co, gen, society,,,,,,,,good hunting rae owens
