janette, this is what i have ,in 1421 pfalzgrafenweiler came into possession of wurttemberg,and it belongs to wurttemberg today,,on 24 april 1798 nearly all of the buildings were burned down,specically 119 buildings ,including 93 houses and city hall,,only the parsonage,the school,and the forester's house with some smaller buildings remained in all only 17 buildings survived,,, in 1971 mr. frederich r. wollmershauser wrote j.l. hiers that all the parish records since the establishment of the church may still be found in the stone parsonage,,,,,so if i was going i would go to the parsonage,,and probally would lock my self in for days,,ha,ha,,,check out the grave yard and take pictures,,,,,talk to frederich if possiable,,,,,,,good luck,,,im rae owens out of berkeley co s.c.,,,i have the hiers book and i am kin to the hiers
