John and Mary Hight, Hightstown, New Jersey

I found this on about the Hight family from Hightstown, NJ.

John and Mary Hight had two sons who lived to adulthood. They were John and Joseph Hight. John b. 1731 and Joseph in 1739. John married Hannah Richards in 1758. Their children were Joseph b. 1760 (died in infancy), Daniel b. 1761, Catherine b. 1769, Jacob,(my line)b. 1775, Hannah b. 1777, and Benjamin, b. 1779.

Jacob married Martha Hannlin, daughter or Dr. Isaiah Hannlin, they had two children, Nathan and William.

Going back to my initial research, there is no mention of these names. I know that Jacob also had Jacob Jr., Samuel (my line), Ellison, Nicholas and Josiah. Jacob left NJ and settled in SW Ohio, near Cincinnati.

One a side note, my mother's first cousin, Charles Hight, tested his DNA and our male line is Haplogroup I1, (Anglo-Saxon or Viking DNA.)

Jeff, son of Lorene (Hight) Palmer
