John Thomas Hight (1844-1924), in Georgia

I have been looking for information on the Confederate soldier record of John T. Hight, of Hancock County, GA (my Great-Grandfather). I have a copy of his Confederate Soldier's Application for Pension that shows he was in Company G, 2nd Regiment from February 1863 to April 1865. However, the other information on the application is practically impossible to read, so I was wondering if anyone out there might have some more information, such as the location of his company, battles fought in, or anything else. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
