I found these records several years ago and think these
HYETT,HYET,HIET,HIATT,HIGHT,HITE men are of the same family going back to Westbury on Severn,GLOU,ENG.as the names and
ages are about right,JOHN HYET,b 1594,,NATHANIEL HYET,1600
THOMAS HYET,1603,PHILLIPPEE,1606,SAMUELL,1608,SARAH,1614,ROGER,1615
their parents were JOHN HYET 1570 wife AGNES HAMPTON,Johns father was JOHN HYET,brn.1540,his parents were JOHN HYET and
JOANE.
NOW;in the RECORDS of THE VIRGINIA COMPANY,1606-1626 VOL.111
image 436 of CXLIV;JOHN SMYTH,Acount of expenses for Virginia Plantation sent to Mr.THORPE,September 20,1620 you
will find; Rec ofMath SMYTH of waneswell,in pte for interast[besyde 100 pd S W Throckmton by him]note their resteth 5 more betweene him & JOHN HIET,for use
this to me shows that there was a HYET,HYETT,HIATT,HIGHT,
HITE and all the other ways that the name is spelled,in VA.

THOMAS HYET,was found sailing to America[Virginia]on the ship BONA VENTURA,in 1634,Some where,[and I will find it]
I have THOMAS HYET,in BARBADOS shipwrecked and building with others a SLOOP and sailing to Virginia,then on in to New JERSEY.hope this helps someone..
