My Hyler/Hiler's came from East somewhere, maybe Pa. to Ohio to Vigo County Indiana. Names were Jacob Hiler/Hyler Hanna Rinehart Hyler/Hiler, death certificate says born in Germany. These are very close to your Vermillion County bunch. Vermillion is just a few miles north of Vigo Co.. My Hyler's were in Vigo County in the 1850-1900 circa. Please contact me for more details.
