This may or may be of some help, it is most of the information I have at hand concerning the Hiler family
Hiler, Geo. Martin
Born January 22, 1872 at Paris, Canada
Parents Hiler and Mary ??
Married to Ida Schurr on November 2, 1901 at Luray, Kansas
Died September 13, 1918
Buried at Luray, Kansas
Children Scott Hiler, b. 1904
Grace Marie Hiler, b. 1915
Georgia Louis Hiler, b. 1918

Geo. Martin Hiler was born in Paris, Canada, January 22nd 1872 and died September 13, 1918
being 46 years 7 mo. and 21 days of age, at the time of his death. He came with his parents when a
babe to Bennett, Lancaster County, Nebraska, moving to Osborne County, Kansas when a small
boy. In 1899 he moved to Luray with his mother Mrs. Mary Sinclair who died November 30,
1917. He was married to Miss Ida Schurr of Luray, Kansas, Nov. 2nd 1901. To this union was
born three children one boy, Scott 14 yrs. two girls Grace Marie 3 yrs. and Georgia Louis 3
months of age. In 1910 George and family moved to Siloam Springs, Arkansas where they have
resided since on a farm four miles northeast of Siloam Springs. For the past year he has been in
poor health owing to leakage of the heart. Last friday while plowing he fell and the little girl
Grace ran to tell her mother, when Mrs. Hiler got to him he was dead. His body was brought to
his old home, Luray, Kansas for burial. His wife and two little girls accompanied it.
