I'm new to this, so forgive me if I am out of line. I was always told that Michael Hillegas, First treasurer of th US was my 5th great grandfather. My grand father married a Miller, who was a decent of Hillegas. I suddenly aquired an intrest in doing a family tree. I am going to try and research this.
