Try the Family Tree Maker website at http://www.familytreemaker.com and type in Michael Hillegas. That will give you a few pages that have his lineage. Most of the information is free. The CD info needs to be purchased and the Genealogical Library needs a subscription, but the home pages are free, and you'll get your information. A quick summary is that Hans Peter Hillegas from Sinsheim, Baden, Germany married Anna Regina Triegel. One of their children was Johann Frederick Hillegas who married Elizabeth Barbara Triegel. One of their children was John Adam Hillegas who married Margaret Hallman and Anna Catharine Bitting. Adam and Margaret had Michael John Hillegas who married Catharine Gery. They were the parents of Michael Hillegas.
Anna Yeakel (on one site, someone spelled Weikel-even today I get that spelling for Yeakel) was the daughter of Jeremias Yeakel and Susanna Wiegner. Jeremias' parents were Hans Heinrich Yeakel and Susanna Heydrich or Heydrick. Hans Heinrich's parents were David Jackel and Susannah Heydrich or Heydrick. Susanna Wiegner's parents were Christopher Wiegner and Anna Schultz. I have dates and other children's names if you are interested. I have other information. Just let me know how much info you want.
