Hi. I'm also a descendant of Jane HILLHOUSE COBB. She and William D. COBB married 2 Dec 1841 in Cherokee Co., GA. They were in the 1850 census of Walker, Co., GA, and were in Perry Co., AR by the 1860 census. William D. served inthe 3rd AR Cavalry, Co. D., Union in the Civil War. He's described as 5'9", light complexion, blue eyes, dark hair. He died 3 Oct 1870 of pneumonia. I descend from their daughter Susan COBB, who married James B.M. MORRIS. Are you a descendant of Jeweldene?
The only dates I have on the HILLHOUSEs is that Samuel died about 1849 in Cherokee Co., GA. Would love to find out more. Several HH researchers are busily looking for further info on them, too. Almost nothing has been found on Annie CROWNOVER to date. Do you have anything on her? Karen (wgroce@netdoor.com)
