Mary Francis Kimbrell, w/o John Bunyan Hillhouse was the daughter of Mary S. GREENE and Isham KIMBRELL. She was born 12 Oct 1836 and died 5 Oct 1918. Source: The Hunting of Hillhouse by Ervin Ross Hillhouse, page 25.

Mary "Polly" Dickey, w/o James Hillhouse
(daughter of William Dickey ?) No. Mary (Polly) DICKEY was born 11 Apr 1753 and died 12 Dec 1834 (according to church records in KY). She was the daughter of Martha McNEELY and John DICKEY. I have found her listed as Polly, Mollie, and Mary. She's in my direct line.

Elizabeth Henry, w/o David Sloan Hillhouse.
(daughter of Samuel Henry & Mary Braemer (?)
has sister, Jane, m. Alexander Brown Dickey)

Correct. Samuel and Mary had Nancy Agnes, William, James, Samuel, Rebecca Nancy, Elizabeth, John Mitchell, and Jane. Nancy Agnes married George ELDER; William married Mary Ann WHEELER; James married Rebecca K. JOHNSON; Samuel Jr. married Mary QUINTON; Rebecca Nancy married Robert Dickey HILLHOUSE; Elizabeth, as you said, married David Sloan HILLHOUSE; John Mitchell married Jane PICKENS; and as you said, Jane married Alexander Brown DICKEY. Samuel Sr. was the son of Agnes MITCHELL and James L. HENRY. James L. was found on the 1812 tax list for Giles County, TN; Capt. Henry was an early settler (one of the first) of that county. James and Agnes were the parents of (that I've found) Mary (who married Robert DICKEY), Samuel, Loamy, and William.

I would have sworn this was in the information either Gloria or I sent you. I'm extremely sorry if it was somehow omitted. I probably only sent you the direct line that did not list parents of spouses. (I wasn't aware my program would even do that.)

Pat
