Hi Mary,

I've just recently started on the Hillhouse/Hillas side of the family, I'm back to William Hillhouse/Hillas 1851 census St.Quivox & Newton-on-Ayr. Among others I also have the certificate for William Hillhouse and Agnes Wilson Marriage on 22nd September 1881 St. Quivox & Newton-on-Ayr William's parents are: William Hillhouse & Margaret Hillhouse nee Downie. Agnes's parents are: John Wilson & Susan Wilson nee Lowrie. Witnesses are: Thomas Black & William Trousdale.
On the 1881 census for William & Margaret, place of birth for William is Anachem Ireland, which is County Down, kind of worked his birth out to be around 1824/26.
I have a lot more info on the family, so please get in touch if you are still interested.
