Hi Linda,

My name is Des Hillhouse and Sgt Thomas Hillhouse of the Scottish Rifles (Cameronians) is my Great grandfather, he died in 1915 in WW1, buried in France, at the Windy Hill Cemetery, his parents were Thomas Hillhouse and Helen Hillhouse nee Anderson, my Grandfather was James Hillhouse, he died in 1970 his siblings were Robert, Thomas, Helen and John, he immigrated to Australia in 1929 and lived in North Queensland.

My Father is Thomas Hillhouse born in North Queensland in 1939, his siblings were Ian, James, Les, Ella. I have met some of the Hillhouses from Childers, who are the descendants of John Hillhouse. I am directly related to Lesley Isabel Dickson Hillhouse who immigrated with her family to Brisbane in 1962. I would like to make contact with Lesley and other relatives, as I intend to visit Scotland in August next year.

If you have any information I would appreciate if you could contact me at hillhoused@meaust.meap.com

Thanks,

Des Hillhouse
