Jennette J. Lyle b.1820 Alabama was the daughter of David Lyle and Elizabeth (Franklin)Lyle
Elizabeth was said to be full-blood Cherokee.
David and Elizabeth are found on the 1850 census of Kemper Co. Mississippi with son Robert. In the 1850 census David is listed as born in North Carolina. In the 1870 census of Choctaw Co. Miss. his birthplace is listed as Ireland. Elizabeth's birthplace is given as North Carolina b.1800.
