Hi Nancy,You have at least one error in your line. The Johannes Hilligas born in 1751 was Johann Frederick Hillegass the 3rd.The Johannes "John" Hillegass married to Magdalena Knickerbocker was born 1757, died 20 Aug 1814,at age 57, he was in the Revolutionary War, 4th Infantry Riflemen, Continental Line, and received a Pension. He died in Berne, Albany, N.Y., Magdalena died 3 Jun 1849, also in Berne, Albany, N.Y., they are buried in the Beaver Dam Cemetery, Berne. They had 11 children, not nine.Benjamin Franklin Hilligass (Sr.) was born 8 Jul 1804, not 1803, (Rachel Ann Conkling was born 1803), and was Baptised in the Dutch Reformed Church, Schoharie, Schoharie, N.Y.Benjamin F. Hilligass, Jr, was also a private in CO B, 10th Infantry Regiment-Illinois from 16 Apr 1861 thru 29 Jul 1861.Thanks, Ed Hillicoss
