It's always good to remain open to alternative possibilities. Being a descendant of Samuel Hinckley b. 1770 in Pittstown NY - he being brother to Jonathon Niles Hinckley as well as Gershom Jr. - I may have some clues for you. I do not see Henry in my files at the moment but need to search further. There were also brothers Daniel b. 1765 and John b. 1768 not to mention that Gershom SENIOR had a brother named John who may have produced your line. Please contact me directly - ljazz5@aol.com
