Hinckley Heritage & History, by E. Chas. HINCKLEY:

Joseph HINCKLEY (15 May 1672, Barnstable, Be., MA - 1753) m1. 21 Sept. 1697, Be., Mary GORHAM, d/o Mary OTIS & John GORHAM {Mayflower Descendant, 5:179: m. 21 Sept. 1699}. Reference, New England Historic & G.R., 3:135.

Joseph HINCKLEY & Mary GORHAM had, all b. Barnstable:

Mercy / Marcy, b. 17 Aug. 1700, m. 16 Mar. 1721/2, John BOURNE, b. 1698.
Joseph (6 May 1702 - 9 S 1738/9) m. 1725, Mary OTIS.
Mary (25 Feb. 1703/4 - 31 Mar. 1756) m. 23 S 1731, Deacon Gershom DAVIS.
Samuel, b. 24 Feb. 1705/6, dy.
Thankful (9 Je. 1708 - 20/24? Aug. 1745) m. 2 Dec. 1727/8? James DAVIS.
Abigail (30 Oct. 1710 - 9 S 1749) m. 3 Jan. 1742, John DILLINGHAM of Harwich.

After these children, there is a question because the rest of the children are listed on p. 46 as ch/o Joseph HINCKLEY & Mrs. Eliz. GOOKIN HINCKLEY, but on p. 42, the book says that Joseph's brother Isaac HINCKLEY m. Mrs. Elizabeth GOOKIN.

Joseph HINCKLEY was s/o Samuel HINCKLEY (b. or bpt. 24 July 1642, Barnstable - 2 Jan. 1726) & 2d wf., m. 15 Jan.1668/9, Mary FITZRANDOLPH (1 May 1650/1, Be. - 1738). Mary's maiden name was also spelled FITZRANDLE. Samuel was son of the immigrant Samuel, bpt. 25 May 1589, Harrietsham, Hawkhurst, Kent.
