I cannot identify Adeline HINCKLEY, but the 1880 census has some clues. FamilySearch database of the 1880 Census, Aurora, Portage, OH:

VAUGHN, Eugene, 23, OH VT OH; wf. Adeline, 24, OH MA _.

Unfortunately, there was no HINCKLEY family living close to them, and Aurora is in the northwest corner of Portage County and close to Summit, Cuyahoga, & Geauga Counties.

Also of Portage Co., OH, 1880, in Hiram:

Eber D. HINCKLEY, 67, CT CT CT; wf. Angeline, 55, NY; Eber, 29; Henry, 21.

Mantua, Portage, OH, 1880: T. Gilbert HINCKLEY, 42, OH NY NY; wf. A. Emily, 40, OH.

Hinckley Heritage & History by E. Chas. HINCKLEY: Benjamin HINCKLEY (Nov. 1781/2 - 3 / 8 May 1835, Hiram, OH) m. 10 Feb. 1806, Willington, CT, Susannah DAVIS (2/3 Jan. 1783 - 8 Jan. 1873, Hiram, OH). Children

Eber David (10 July 1812, Willington, Tolland, CT - 18 July 1886, Hiram, Portage, OH) m. 15 Mar. 1838, Nancy JOSLIN; m2. 17 Dec. 1863, Hiram, OH, Adeline [Angeline?] COX.

Geo. Washington, b. 22 May 1825.

Solomon HINCKLEY, bpt. 29 Jan. 1727, Truro, MA, had son Gilbert, b. 6 Dec. 1778, who m. Betsey TURNER. They moved to Auburn, OH, ca. 1836.

Have you tried checking the 1870 Census?

Do you have the names of any descendants?

Can you think of any other clues?
