There are about thirty Daniels in the book Hinckley Heritage & History, 1982, by E. Charles Hinckley (deceased). There is a BRANNON entry, but it's more recent.

Census of 1850, Summit Co., OH, HINKLEY: Daniel W., 38; Elizabeth J., 22; "Artraim," 5; Harriet, 3; William, under one.

Census of 1870, Lorain Co., OH, HINCKLEY: Nathen {sic, Nathan?}, 68; Maria, 68; Edmond, 37.
Eliza, 42; three daughters, Anna, 14;, Anna, 13 {sic}, & Mariette, 12.

FamilySearch IGI has Libbie, b. 5 Aug. 1876, Pittsfield, Lorain, OH, d/o Emma PARSONS & Artimus HINKLEY. His name also appears on the census as Artemon in 1880, with a family including son Gersham {sic, Gershom?}. There are several with the name Gershom in the HINCKLEY family. Rev. War Soldier Gershom HINCKLEY (4 Sep. 1730 - 15 Jan. 180[7/9], bu. Orikany Battlefield, NY) m. Catherine WIGHTMAN (9 Feb. 1737 - 24 Sep. 1807. They lived in Pittstown, Rensselaer Co., & Rome, Oneida Co., NY, & had sons Gershom, 1763; [possibly David, b. 1774, but he might be confused with Daniel]; Daniel, 1765; John, 1768; Samuel, 1770; & Jonathan Niles HINCKLEY, 1772.

Index of the 1790 NY Census has HINCKLEY, Elkanah, John, & Thomas, p. 82, & Joshua, 93--Dutchess County.
HINKLEY, Gershom, Sr. & Jr., p. 32, Pittstown; Nathan, p. 40, Saratoga; Paul & Samuel, 4, Stephentown; Josiah, 55, Watervliet--Albany Co.; & Mercey, 56--Crown Point, Clinton Co.

Have you checked RootsWeb Family Trees?

Do you have Anna's married name? Perhaps you could find her obituary and then work back through her siblings and parents.
