I realize that this message is three years old, and that perhaps you already have the answer. However, let me answer it, if I can.(FYI, You mentioned, "...One of Samuel's sons also went to MI..." That was , I believe, Rodney, who was my g-g-grandfather. I JUST saw his gravestone monument yesterday (and took a picture)in South Haven.)
ANYway, to go on to your question. I THINK I followed your question, and I think you are asking about John Hinckley Jr., b.19 Apr 1727,d.26 Oct 1753,m.Joanna Rose 23 Dec 1746.
My question to YOU :-) is......I am looking for information on Henrietta Jane Hinckley, one of Rodney's children.I know her birthdate and her marriage date to my g-grandfather, but that's about it. (I had hoped I'd see her grave next to her parents yesterday, but there is no sign of her. She died in Grand Junction, MI, so she MAY be in another township cemetery.
Hope that this has helped somehow.
James H. Harris
g-grandson of James Harris and Henrietta Jane Hinckley
Angola, IN
