Thanks Marilyn. In the past three months of being fairly active with genforum and other sources, I have almost never seen a religious sourced record. Is there a reason why church records almost never appear? I would have thought that many churches kept vital records when events occurred in the church, e.g. weddings, christenings. Do you know why such redcords almost never show up, or am I missing a whole branch opf genealogical research? Also, do we know what religion the Hinckleys followed? Thanks,
