Gershom & Prudence (Tennant) Hinckley
Posted by: Coleen Coleman (ID *****8267) Date: November 18, 2011 at 11:31:23
  of 787

Looking for confirmation of my Daniel W.
Hinckley.
Could one of the following sons of Gershom
& Prudence have fathered my Daniel W. Hinckley?
John
b: 1791
Caleb
b: 1794
Daniel
b: 1803
Harry R.
b: 1806
Hiram
B: 1805
Moses
b: 1812
Stephen
B: 1814

It was said that my Daniel was born 1812 as I
have a marriage record 1844 says age 21, making
him born 1823. There is however the 1850 census
tells he was 37-38 making him born 1812-1813.
Then there is a Daniel (Peck? Hinckley) 1860
census Lorain Co OH age 57 makig him born 1803.
I have looked for Daniel Peck/Hinckley in the
cemetery indexes for Lorain Co OH only finding
Harmon/Herman and spouse Lydia.
This gets more frustrating by the day.
