Stanley,
the name 'Hinesley' can trace its origin to the American misspelling of the name 'Hindsley'. Hinds-means deer, and ley -is a meadow. The American origin of the name stems from North Carolina, then back to Yorkshire, England. See the Hindsley Message Board for further information. Hope this is of some help.
